I have released seven themes for Chrome with many more on the way. On my first wave of releases, I chose to create a Chrome version of my Armed Forces series and my Fire and Rescue theme. There are a lot of Chrome themes available out there but from what I have seen, they are not very attractive. Chrome themes are far less customizable than Firefox themes but this is sort of a blessing and a curse. It takes a lot less time to put a Chrome theme together but you have to get very creative with how you put a nice looking theme together with a few image files and a single .json file.
Because they can be built in a rather short amount of time I will be putting a large collection together. I am thinking of some options and I thought one cool idea would be a theme for each of the 50 states. Now, I have not been to all 50 states so I am not totally sure what would best represent each one so that is where you can help out. If you like the idea of your state represented in the Chrome theme world and have some input on what images best represent you state, please send them my way.
My goal in the upcoming few weeks is to get my Firefox Armed Forces series and Fire and Rescue themes updated, a couple of my old Thunderbird themes updated and a chunk of the Chrome themes built. I used to be able to stay up late into the night to work on these but that is not happening as much lately as I transition into being an old man.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with to best represent your state.
