U.S. Navy Theme Available

I am excited to announce that I have received permission from the Navy to use their official emblem and release my theme. You can view the listing at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/57885 and install it. Currently, the theme is listed as experimental while it waits on review and approval from Mozilla to be made public.
I have filled out the paperwork for the Air Force and Marines so hopefully I will get permission to use their official emblems soon. The Army will take a little longer because I couldn’t find their contact information but I was finally able to get an email to the proper department. Due to the recent snow on the East Coast however, they have not been able to get to their offices so I am still waiting for them to review my request.

EXCELLENT! I’m a Navy Brat. I hope my dad likes this. Even more so I hope that I’m not getting anyone in trouble since “I & someone I am associated with” is affiliated with the Navy. I consider it an honor to display the proud emblem of the Navy. BRETT: if it is a problem please tell me.
You are completely fine using it. The Navy Licensing Department had me put that in there to make sure it was known that they had no part in designing the theme and it is not connected to the Navy in any way other than they approved of my design and granted permission to use the official emblem. I am glad you like it.

Excellent Idea – but you forgot the USCG!
This is the best US Navy theme I have seen. It shows everything about the Navy, from the SEALs to the aircraft carrier. I have this on ALL of my PC’s from home to work. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Keep up the good work.
I am going to be working on updates for these in the next week. At this point I am going to create versions without the official emblems. I have run into the resistance because for various reasons. The emblem is the only image I need permission for but I can make a very nice theme using unrestricted images and photos. Hopefully, after seeing the positive reception of users they will be more willing to grant permission to use official emblems. I would add more to the theme knowing it was “official”. I will keep working on them.
