Wordpress can be a powerful content management system with unlimited potential. Most people associate Wordpress with a tradition blog layout but a self-hosted site using Wordpress can be transformed into anything you want.

Here is a site I put together using Wordpress for my wife’s cooking blog. This is more of a traditional blog layout with a jQuery thumbnail slider at the top.

This is my website. It is built using Wordpress. Originally I used the Essence Dark theme from iThemes but it has been completely overhauled and redesigned. This site uses Wordpress more as a content management system. It operates as a more typical website than a standard blog.
