Firefox Zune

Firefox Zune Preview

I have completely redesigned Firefox Zune to match seamlessly with the Windows XP Zune theme. From the new toolbar background and the redesigned buttons, you will not recognized this new theme but you will love it if you use the Zune theme for Windows XP. Firefox Zune is also more compatible with popular extensions such as Fission, AIOS, Colorful Tabs, Feed Sidebar, Web Mail, FoxyTunes, etc. Users of Colorful Tabs should also install Tab Mix Plus in order to customized the font colors.

All of my themes will now be Mac and Windows (as well as Linux) compatible so everyone will be able to use them regardless of which OS you are operating. I built my themes on top of the default theme for each system so it displays properly no matter which OS you are running. Previous version had issues on Mac since it was built on the PC version of the default theme.

To enable me to spend the time needed to develop my themes and keep them free to you, I partnered with Ask.com. When you install this theme, you will have the option to set Ask Chrome Search Extension as the default search engine in the browser search window. By using Ask for your searches, you will help subsidize the cost needed to develop, create, and maintain my themes as I continue to improve and expand my collection. Installing Ask.com as the default search does not prevent you from using other search engines later on nor does it affect any of your browser settings apart from the default search setting.

All my themes and the Ask Chrome Search Extension are certified and guaranteed spyware free.

    This theme still doesn’t work.

i have to admit that among a great many themes every found, i find this the most tasteful and balanced one adorned with a daring colour combi, yet not all the buttons on the tool bar are included in the orange area, leaving Help outside of it. Besides, the progress bar seems unfinished. looking forward to its next update very much.

I am going to redo this theme a little bit. I am going to remove the orange from the menu bar and use that for the tabs. I will try to get an update available this week.

Tim, this theme is updated now and should work with 3.5. I removed the Orange Menu Toolbar and redesigned the tabs. I think that helps the overall look.

Any chance you might be able to make a copy of the original with orange tabs intact available for download… ?

I will have the original available today hopefully, I need to get the Mac version ready and adjust the tabs.

Thanks so much for the update. It seems that it is not yet fully finished as the progress bar does not show anything while a page is being loaded.

    Hi!
It’s a very nice theme, I use it with the Zune theme for XP. But, I have a problem.

    How to reproduce:
    – Click on the site’s favicon in the address bar
    – Type something in the search bar

The background is dark silver, and the text is black. I’d recommend white background for search bar – to match address bar. You can keep the black for security info, but make the text white or bright silver.

Yes, and the progress bar. There is a small black bar at the bottom, I think you should remove it and make it orange.

is there a pink theme for firefox that you could make? i would really appreciate it. I dont know how to make these, but i think a feminine look would be great.

Although it says that it’s been updated to work with 3.6, I’m still unable to install it successfully- despite that though, i still rated it high bc, based on the preview shot, I love the style- it’s a beautiful theme- in fact, it’s as if ALL of your themes have been tailored to suit my tastes specifically, haha! They’re fresh, clean & simple- totally unobtrusive & don’t distract from the browsing experience-all the while still retaining enough diversity & distinction for a nice variance in style & detail.

I would love to see you do another white gradient theme with smooth non-glossy gray or neutral buttons- see I do love the *look* of tastefully done dark, minimal, elegant themes- aesthetically, i find dark themes or styles to be the most attractive- but after only a few days i always have to switch back to something lighter- i don’t know what it is- i just can’t seem to adjust myself to the darkness…but so, i know you have some other plans in the works for college-themed skins, but maybe just keep my request in mind! thanks for all your hard work!

I love this theme. However, I’m a little disappointed because the developer promised an update to this theme back in February that would fix a few glitches. He promised the update within the week, and it’s been over three months and still no update. He won’t address comments/questions about the update and won’t answer e-mails either.

    Hi,

I used your other theme (aero Fox) on my Win 7 machine for months now.

I just updated my other (XP) machine to the Zune Theme. The normal Firefox theme didn’t go with that so I looked for a replacement.
When I saw that you had a Zune theme available as well. I downloaded it straight away.

The problem I’m having is this:
I use the Final (unoffical) release of the Zune Theme. In this version I’m able to change the colour scheme, as you can see on this (Link)
note: you have to click the picture to download and you need to unlock 3th party themes (see the 6th post).

I decided that I like the blue one the best, As you can see in the picture (Link) everything is blue except Firefox.
So I was wondering if it is possible to make a blue version of this great theme?

The second problem is an old one. This was the same in a previous version of Aero Fox.

    1. The search bar (ctrl + f) is still white
    2. I use a add-on called Download Statusbar (Link)

All of Firefox is Black and orange (or hopefully blue) except those two bars.

I hope you can help me

    Greetings,

    Maarten Bolhuis

    PS.
sorry if my English is a little sloppy (not my first language)

Got something to say?
