Eclipse

Eclipse Preview

Eclipse is a combination of Revelation and Chromium. It is a great variation of the Mac Safari style look with the deep red glassy button from my Revelation theme. It also has skinned preference, add-ons, and customize windows. I have gone through and fixed many issues with my themes to make them more compatible with popular extensions such as Fission, AIOS, Colorful Tabs, Feed Sidebar, Web Mail, etc. I will continue to improve compatibility with other popular extensions as issues come up.

To keep my themes free to you, I have partnered with Ask.com to include the Ask Chrome Search Extension in my browser themes. When you install this add-on, your default search engine in the browser chrome search box will be reset to Ask. By using Ask for your searches, you will help subsidize the cost needed to develop, create, and maintain my themes as I continue to improve and expand my collection. Your support will enable me to handle frequent updates, new theme requests, user support and much more. You can always switch back to another search engine later, but give Ask a try and see what you think.

All of my themes will now be Mac and Windows (as well as Linux) compatible so everyone will be able to use them regardless of which OS you are operating. I built my themes on top of the default theme for each system so it displays properly no matter which OS you are running. Previous version had issues on Mac since it was built on the PC version of the default theme.

All my themes and the Ask Chrome Search Extension are certified and guaranteed spyware free. If you have any questions, please visit my website.

I truly feel Brett has by far the most refined skins for Firefox. In fact, every PC, Server & Laptop goes out of our labs with one or more of the Virtus Designs skins installed!

Great work Brett! Will continue to install with the Ask Search as default!

Superb theme for Fx. Professional and sophisticated; renders well on my Mac. Nice work!

I love your themes especially eclipse, any idea when a version that works with FF3.6 will be available?

The update for Eclipse should be available to install.

An important question before using the theme: Is there any way to uninstall the Ask Search extension via the extension-plugin manager? Fact is that I want my favorite search engines, not some other one, and also I really don’tlike the fact that using a theme imposes limitations in regards to browsing Web contents! Thanks for your great work, unfortunately until I know for sure that I can get rid of the Ask extension, I will not even bother to download it.
