I have put a Safari style theme together for Mac with Windows coming very soon. I am also going to release some Flock versions of my themes very shortly.

All new files are saved in xpi format and will automatically instal when you click on the download button. I am working on getting all my themes updated and converted to xpi files.

The rest of the Aquatint Series will be updated in the very soon and the Abstract and Bible Fox will shortly follow. My themes will now feature free automatic updates so you will not have to purchase new versions as they come out.

My themes are designed to work only with Firefox 3. I put this site together to better showcase my collection. If you are still using Firefox 2 or would like to download the free versions of my themes, you can find them at AMO. To preview my new, fully skinned themes, click on the tabs to see each collection. I have added some new variations of my previous themes as well as updated my previous themes to work with the new Firefox 3.

Silver Fox is a Safari style theme specifically for Mac users but looks very nice on Windows as well. The Windows version will be available tomorrow.

Mac Users Download Silver Fox Premium for $0.99

I have created two different version of my themes. There will be a basic and a premium version. The basic version will remain free and will be available for download at the AMO site through Firefox.

Because of the enormous amount of time needed to maintain and update each theme, I created the basic themes which will require less maintenance. You will still get the overall look and feel of my themes but many of the details were left as the default theme to avoid issues with text coloring and extensions. I will provide updates as needed.

The premium themes are fully skinned. I am in the process of redesigning my collection of themes. The newest versions will include the ability to receive free automatic updates and will have great usability with Tabmix Plus and Colorful Tabs.

I will maintain and update my premium themes as issues arise. Because of the time needed to keep these working their best, I have decided to offer the premium themes for download on this site only at $.99. This charge is not for the product itself but rather to compensate for the time spent on maintaining and updating it.

Download and Installation

When you click on the button to download you will be taken to paypal. After you purchase the theme for $0.99 you will be able to procede to the download link where you can download the file. You will also be sent an email with the same link. This link will be valid for 30 days from your purchase. If I update a theme within 30 days of your purchase you will be able to download the updated version for no extra charge.

After you download the file and save it to your hard drive, open Firefox then click on tool>add-ons and the add-on window will pop up. Select the theme tab. Drag the saved .jar file over to the window and drop it in the section with the list of themes. Click the install button then restart Firefox. If you do not get an option to restart, go into your list of themes, click on the newly installed theme, select use theme then restart.

When Firefox restarts your new theme should be up and running.

When updates are available, you will be notified when you open the Firefox Browser.

I have significantly redesigned Aero Fox based on user feedback to make it even better. The toolbar buttons have been reduced in size to save space on the desktop. The toolbar now adjusts as you select between large and small icons or icons with text to prevent wasted space. Previous issues with Tab Mix Plus and Colorful tabs are taken care of so you can utilize those extensions. I have also returned the glassy buttons and modified the windows to better match the overall look of the theme.

The most important update to this theme is the ability to receive automatic updates. As I continue to improve this theme, you will be automatically notified that updates are available when you start Firefox.
